Winterfest in 2019, January 25th - 27th.

Join us on SATURDAY for the following events:

Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascension–8:00am Downtown  
Downtown Pagosa Springs by the San Juan River. Enjoy the spectacular winter view as balloons fill the sky.

Pagosa Mountain Sports Fat Bike Race -Location and Time TBD
16K, 8K, KidK $20/adults, $10/racers under 18.  This is a fun activity for the whole family!

Pagosa Nordic Club Learn to Cross Country Ski Clinic -Location and Time TBD
This introductory clinic is great for never-evers, beginners and intermediate level X-C skiers. Learn skate ski and classic cross-country ski basics from some of Pagosa Springs’ best skiers. Come learn how to make these outdoor winter activities even more enjoyable. Bring your ski gear; skate skis or classic kick and glide. All local ski shops rent cross-country ski gear and offer special rental discounts for these clinics- just mention your are attending the clinic. Donations of $5-$10 per person are encouraged.

4th Annual Barkus Parade -11 am in Town Park
The Lost Cajun is hosting this wonderful event as a benefit for the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs.  Bring your costumed pet and parade with us!  Make a donation to the humane society and get a free cup of gumbo.

10th Annual Penguin Plunge – Registration 12pm, Plunge 1pm San Juan River Walk
Support your favorite non-profits by raising money and plunging into the freezing cold San Juan River, or enjoy the view from the San Juan River Walk. These brave souls don’t just jump in and get out, we make them REALLY plunge into the river!

Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascension–8:00am Uptown in the Pagosa Lakes Area

Once again, see the balloons fill the winter sky, this time over the Pagosa Lakes area. Grab a cup of coffee or cocoa, and come enjoy the spectacular view!

Pagosa Nordic Club BB Gun Biathlon- Location and Time TBD
Participants have three opportunities to shoot at targets in between ski laps. Great event for all ages, abilities and spectators. $5/Kidk, $20/4km, $25/16k.
